Policies and Frequently Ask Questions

Cancellation Policy

I understand a cancellation fee equal to the full service cost will be enforced with all appointments canceled within twenty-four hours leading up to the scheduled service (with exceptions made on a case-by-case basis due to illness or emergency) and for missed appointments. I also acknowledge that I can send someone in my place if I am unable to make it for any reason.

Inclement Weather Policy

Your safety is our priority! If bad weather makes travel unsafe, please don’t worry—just give us a call or text and we’ll happily reschedule your appointment with no penalty.

If we need to close or delay opening due to weather, we’ll contact you as soon as possible by text or email. Please check your messages before heading out on stormy days.

How do I know what massage to choose?

Thats’s okay! At the start of each session, your therapist will sit down with you and do a thorough intake to assess your goals, areas of tension and preferences. Every session is tailored to your needs that day.

FAQ’s

We do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a detailed receipt upon request that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Many of our clients are able to use HSA or FSA funds with a detailed reciept.

How often should I get a massage?

This depends on both the condition being treated and the individual client. Long-standing or chronic issues rarely resolve overnight, and some concerns may benefit from additional complementary approaches. Not every muscle needs to be stretched—some need to be strengthened.

Many of our clients see the best results by scheduling appointments more frequently at first to address a specific issue, then transitioning into a maintenance plan to support long-term wellness.

Massage therapy isn’t just a luxury—it can be an important part of maintaining overall physical and mental health. Muscles can become tight and fatigued, and regular bodywork can help support both the body and the mind.
